Cooking Demo and Tasting: Holiday Baking with Jim Dodge

Discover the secrets to baking festive cookies, flaky pie crusts, airy cakes, and savory breads with award-winning chef, author, restaurateur, and culinary educator Jim Dodge. This next installment of Huntington Hospitality's Star Chefs series includes a live baking demonstration and tasting, followed by an exclusive meet-and-greet with the chef. Baking novices and experts alike will observe how to apply fundamental pastry techniques to everything from sweet desserts to savory entrees, while partaking in a series of oven-baked small bites and plates related to the demonstration.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres and libations. Before delving into the world of pastry, pick up a complimentary beverage and appetizer on your way into Haaga Hall. Join us for new baking tips and tricks sure to impress friends and family during this holiday season!

About Jim Dodge

Jim is currently the director of specialty culinary programs for Bon Appétit Management Company, the jury chair for the first-ever Julia Child Award, and serves on the advisory council of the Julia Child Foundation. He has authored several cookbooks including American Baker and Baking with Jim Dodge. Jim has appeared on several national television programs including the Today Show, The Home Show, and Good Morning America.
